DevOps Engineer
Location -
Armenia, Yerevan
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for automating workflows, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines. This role involves optimizing system performance, enhancing collaboration between stakeholders, and implementing reliable, scalable, and secure solutions to support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Set up monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.) to track system health, performance, and security metrics.
- Deploy, configure, and manage resources on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), thus optimizing services for reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes or similar tools, for efficient software development.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages, for deploying and managing applications through CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage Linux/Unix systems, ensuring optimal uptime and performance.
- Implement and manage backup strategies for critical systems and data.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance, issues, and improvements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot to resolve system related issues ensuring minimum downtime and high availability.
- Work within Agile and DevOps frameworks, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design scalable, reliable, and secure system architectures.
- Partner with suppliers to integrate and automate application deployment and testing processes.
Requirements and skills

- Hands on knowledge of tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
- Knowledge of cloud services ( Like AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes concepts
- Knowledge of Python or Bash programming
- Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar platforms)
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration
- Knowledge of networking protocols, load balancers, and firewalls
- Familiarity with managing relational and non-relational databases
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Strong skills in documenting workflows, processes, and technical details
- Expertise in identifying and resolving issues across multiple layers of the stack
- 2+ years of previous related work experience
